Quadrupled Our Warehouse Footprint

To better serve our growing customer base, we took a major step forward in 2024 by quadrupling our warehouse footprint. This expansion has allowed us to significantly streamline our operations, stock a wider variety of products, and fulfill orders with greater efficiency. With the additional space, we’ve been able to improve workflow processes, reduce lead times, and prepare for the exciting growth we anticipate in 2025. It’s all part of our commitment to ensuring our customers have what they need, when they need it, for their adventures.

Attended Our First All-Women’s Overlanding Event

This year, we had the honor of attending our first all-women’s overlanding event, A Roam of Our Own, a truly inspiring milestone. Our CEO, Aimee Higgins, delivered a thought-provoking talk on mental health for nomads, opening up an important conversation in the community. This event wasn’t just about sharing knowledge—it was about celebrating the incredible women who are paving the way in the overlanding space. We were thrilled to bring along our talented female team members, who represented Tern Overland with pride and contributed to an empowering weekend of connection and collaboration.

Launched the Arctic Tern Flat Window

The launch of the Arctic Tern Flat Window marked a significant moment for Tern Overland in 2024. This sleek, modern window combines form and function in a way that has resonated with overlanders around the globe. Its clean lines and contemporary design make it a standout addition to any build, while its practical features ensure it performs as beautifully as it looks. The response has been incredible, and we’re excited to see how the Flat Window continues to enhance the journeys of our customers.

Launched the 90-Degree Cam-Lock Struts

Say goodbye to limited openings! One of the most exciting innovations we introduced this year was the 90-Degree Cam-Lock Strut. Designed to allow Arctic Tern Windows to open fully to 90 degrees, this upgrade has been a game-changer for ventilation and usability. Whether you’re parked at a scenic overlook or just enjoying a breeze at camp, the Cam-Lock Strut provides a seamless way to maximize airflow, views and functionality. It’s a small but impactful feature that has quickly become a favorite among our customers.

Launched Our Larges Window Yet - The 550x1450 Window!

Bigger truly was better in 2024 with the debut of our largest window yet—the Arctic Tern 550x1450. Measuring nearly 22 inches by 57 inches, this window is designed to offer unmatched ventilation and natural light. Perfect for larger builds or those looking to maximize their interior atmosphere, this window has set a new standard for what’s possible in expedition vehicles and campers. We’re thrilled to see how our customers are incorporating this massive window into their designs in 2025.

Attended/Exhibited at 16 Trade Shows

This year, we hit the road to attend/exhibit at 16 trade shows across the country. These events gave us the opportunity to connect with customers, showcase our products, and learn from the inspiring community that fuels our passion. From bustling Overland Expos to niche gatherings, we were energized by the feedback and enthusiasm we received. These shows are where relationships are built, ideas are exchanged, and the overlanding spirit thrives—and we’re already gearing up for another packed show schedule in 2025.

Developed New Partnerships

2024 was a year of incredible partnerships that pushed boundaries and sparked innovation. We had the privilege of working with affiliates, content creators, and OEMs who share our vision for what overlanding can be. These collaborations allowed us to not only expand our reach but also grow as a company and with our community. The creativity and passion of our partners remind us why we do what we do and inspire us to keep delivering the high-quality products and support that our community deserves.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we close the chapter on 2024, we’re eagerly looking ahead to a transformative 2025. Our goals for the new year are ambitious yet focused, as we strive to better serve our customers and partners while expanding into exciting new territories.

One of the most significant changes for Tern Overland in 2025 is the integration of our new ERP system. This advanced software will streamline our internal processes, improve inventory management, and enhance communication across all departments. The goal? Faster, more efficient service for you, our valued customers.

In addition to refining our operations, we’re exploring new markets to expand our reach and bring Tern Overland products to an even broader audience. While continuing to deepen our relationships in the overlanding industry, we’re stepping into new spaces with confidence and excitement. In 2025, you’ll find us at an even more diverse range of shows, including sportsman expos, Outdoor Retailer, semi-truck sleeper expos, and more. These events will allow us to connect with adventurers, outdoor enthusiasts, and innovators across various industries, sharing how Tern Overland products can transform their travel and exploration experiences.
